The following policies govern your use of Motor Connect TT and explain how information submitted to the platform is handled.

1. About Motor Connect TT

Motor Connect TT is an automotive-focused online directory operated by ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT, a registered business in Trinidad and Tobago. The purpose of Motor Connect TT is to help users discover and connect with automotive businesses, professionals, service providers, emergency providers, parts suppliers, dealers, and other automotive-related providers in Trinidad and Tobago. Motor Connect TT is primarily a directory and connection platform. It is not an automotive repair company, mechanic, towing company, roadside assistance company, emergency response service, parts supplier, dealer, contractor, agent, broker, insurer, or representative of the individuals or businesses listed on the Platform. Motor Connect TT does not itself provide, perform, supervise, dispatch, or guarantee automotive services.​ By accessing or using Motor Connect TT, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility and Acceptance

Motor Connect TT may be accessed by members of the public.

By using the website, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to use the website and agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising minors who use the website.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Platform.

3. Nature of the Service

Motor Connect TT provides a platform through which users may discover listed automotive businesses and providers and obtain information such as telephone numbers, WhatsApp details, email addresses, social media profiles, websites, locations, services, specialties, vehicle expertise, business hours, availability, photographs, and other information supplied or published in connection with a listing.

Motor Connect TT's role ends substantially at facilitating the discovery of and initial connection with a listed provider. Any subsequent communication, quotation, appointment, purchase, repair, towing arrangement, roadside assistance, parts purchase, service agreement, payment, contract, transaction, or other relationship is solely between the relevant parties. Motor Connect TT is not a party to those transactions or relationships.

4. Listings and Provider Information

Providers may submit information to Motor Connect TT for consideration and publication.
 

ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT may review and approve listings before or after publication. However, approval or publication of a listing does not mean that Motor Connect TT:

  • endorses the provider;

  • recommends the provider;

  • certifies the provider;

  • guarantees the provider's qualifications;

  • guarantees the provider's experience;

  • guarantees the provider's honesty or reliability;

  • guarantees the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of the provider's services or products;

  • guarantees the accuracy or completeness of every statement made by the provider;

  • guarantees that the provider is properly licensed, registered, insured, or otherwise authorized to perform a particular service; or

  • guarantees that the provider is suitable for any particular user, vehicle, situation, or purpose. 
     

Providers are solely responsible for the information, representations, qualifications, claims, photographs, pricing, certifications, products, services, operating information, and other material they submit.

Providers must ensure that information supplied to Motor Connect TT is truthful, accurate, current, lawful, and not misleading. Motor Connect TT may request clarification, supporting information, or additional documentation before approving or maintaining a listing.

5. Seeded Listings

Motor Connect TT may initially create or publish listings for automotive businesses and service providers as part of the development and expansion of the directory. These listings may be created using publicly available information, information obtained from business websites or social media, business directories, direct research, or other lawful sources. A listing created in this manner is referred to as a Seeded Listing.
 

A Seeded Listing does not mean that the business or provider has:

  • registered with Motor Connect TT;

  • submitted an official listing form;

  • claimed or taken control of the listing;

  • reviewed every piece of information displayed;

  • confirmed the information displayed; or

  • been Verified by Motor Connect TT.
     

Seeded Listings may therefore contain limited, incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate information.

Businesses and providers may contact Motor Connect TT to request corrections, updates, additional information, or the opportunity to complete the applicable listing or verification process.

ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT reserves the right to create, modify, update, suspend, restrict, or remove Seeded Listings at its discretion.
 

6. Verified Badge

Motor Connect TT may display a Verified badge on certain business or provider listings.

For purposes of Motor Connect TT, a Verified badge means that the business or provider has completed the applicable Motor Connect TT listing or verification process and has provided or confirmed information requested by Motor Connect TT.
 

The Verified badge does not mean that Motor Connect TT:

  • inspected the business, premises, workshop, vehicle, equipment, or facilities;

  • tested the provider's services;

  • certifies the provider;

  • guarantees the provider's qualifications or licences;

  • guarantees the provider's insurance;

  • guarantees the provider's experience or workmanship;

  • guarantees the safety, legality, quality, reliability, or price of the provider's services;

  • guarantees that the provider's information will remain accurate or current;

  • guarantees the provider's availability or response; or

  • endorses or recommends the provider.
     

The Verified badge is an indication of completion of Motor Connect TT's applicable listing or verification process only. It is not a governmental, regulatory, professional, technical, safety, licensing, insurance, or quality certification. Motor Connect TT may remove, suspend, or withhold a Verified badge if information becomes inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, disputed, or otherwise fails to satisfy the requirements of the Platform.
 

7. Emergency Directory

Motor Connect TT may provide an Emergency Directory containing automotive providers who may offer services such as wrecking or towing, mobile mechanical assistance, locksmith services, tire assistance, battery jumpstarts, fuel delivery, forensic services, and other emergency or roadside assistance.

The Emergency Directory is provided solely as a tool to help users identify and contact potential providers.

Motor Connect TT is not an emergency response, dispatch, roadside assistance, towing, recovery, police, medical, fire, or rescue service.
 

The presence of an emergency provider on Motor Connect TT does not guarantee that the provider:

  • is currently available;

  • will answer a telephone call or message;

  • will respond to a WhatsApp message;

  • will arrive at a particular time;

  • will arrive at all;

  • is located at a particular distance from the user;

  • has the equipment necessary for the situation;

  • is qualified, licensed, certified, or insured;

  • will be able to resolve the user's situation;

  • will charge a particular price;

  • will perform the service safely or satisfactorily; or

  • will be suitable for the user's particular emergency.
     

Any availability indicator, including a “24/7” designation, is information associated with a listing and does not constitute a guarantee by Motor Connect TT that the provider will be available or respond at any particular time. Users are responsible for confirming availability, pricing, qualifications, and suitability directly with the provider. In a life-threatening, medical, fire, police, security, or other immediate emergency, users should contact the appropriate official emergency service and should not rely on Motor Connect TT or a provider listed on the Platform as a substitute for an official emergency response service.
 

8. Direct Contact and Transactions

Motor Connect TT may provide buttons or links allowing users to call, WhatsApp, email, visit a website, or access social media profiles of listed providers. Once a user contacts a provider, the resulting communication, quotation, appointment, inspection, repair, towing arrangement, purchase, payment, service, or other interaction occurs directly between the user and the provider. Motor Connect TT is not responsible for and is not a party to that interaction.
 

Motor Connect TT does not control or guarantee:

  • quotations or prices;

  • appointments;

  • response times;

  • payments;

  • refunds;

  • repairs;

  • towing or recovery;

  • roadside assistance;

  • parts;

  • labour;

  • fuel delivery;

  • locksmith services;

  • warranties or guarantees;

  • cancellations;

  • property or vehicle handling;

  • communications;

  • personal injury;

  • vehicle damage;

  • property damage;

  • theft or loss;

  • disputes; or

  • any other outcome arising from a user's interaction with a provider.
     

Users should independently assess and verify any provider before engaging them.
 

9. User Responsibility and Due Diligence

Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before engaging with any business or provider discovered through Motor Connect TT.
 

Depending on the circumstances, users should independently consider confirming:

  • the provider's identity;

  • business name and location;

  • qualifications;

  • licences or certifications where applicable;

  • insurance where applicable;

  • experience;

  • availability;

  • pricing and additional charges;

  • references or reviews;

  • vehicle or equipment requirements;

  • service terms;

  • warranties or guarantees; and

  • any other matter relevant to the proposed service.
     

Users should not rely solely on the existence of a Motor Connect TT listing or Verified badge when deciding whether to engage a provider.
 

10. No Guarantee of Leads, Customers, Sales or Income
Listing on Motor Connect TT does not guarantee that a provider will receive:

  • customers;

  • enquiries;

  • leads;

  • sales;

  • contracts;

  • bookings;

  • referrals;

  • emergency calls;

  • service requests;

  • business opportunities;

  • revenue; or

  • any other particular result.
     

Motor Connect TT's purpose is to increase visibility and facilitate opportunities for users to discover and contact providers. Actual results depend on factors outside the control of ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT.
 

11. Provider Submissions

Providers may submit information, photographs, logos, descriptions, contact details, operating hours, service information, social media links, and other materials to Motor Connect TT.
 

By submitting information or materials, the provider represents and warrants that:

  1. the information provided is accurate to the best of the provider's knowledge;

  2. the provider has the right and authority to provide the information;

  3. the provider has the right to authorize Motor Connect TT to use submitted photographs, logos, descriptions, trademarks, and other materials;

  4. the information and materials do not knowingly contain false, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, unlawful, or infringing content; and

  5. the submission does not violate the rights of another person or business.
     

Motor Connect TT may review, edit, format, categorize, reject, remove, or request clarification regarding submitted information.
 

12. Prohibited Information and Conduct

Providers must not submit or publish information that:

  • is knowingly false or misleading;

  • impersonates another person or business;

  • falsely claims qualifications, licences, certifications, affiliations, or experience;

  • infringes another person's intellectual property rights;

  • contains unlawful or fraudulent material;

  • promotes illegal activities;

  • contains malicious software or harmful code;

  • is defamatory or unlawfully threatening;

  • unlawfully exposes another person's private information;

  • advertises products or services that the provider is not legally permitted to provide; or

  • otherwise violates applicable law or these Terms.
     

Users must not attempt to interfere with, damage, overload, scrape, hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the website, database, systems, or services of Motor Connect TT.
 

13. Accuracy and Changes to Listings

Providers are responsible for notifying ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT when information in their listing becomes inaccurate, outdated, unavailable, misleading, or otherwise requires correction. Motor Connect TT may update, correct, format, shorten, categorize, reorganize, or remove information in a listing where reasonably necessary for the operation, presentation, accuracy, or integrity of the directory.

Motor Connect TT may also independently update information where reasonably necessary, but does not guarantee that all information will always be current or error-free.
 

14. Listing Plans and Fees

Motor Connect TT may offer different listing plans, features, promotional placements, or other paid services.

Any applicable pricing, features, duration, limits, or other commercial terms will be stated in the relevant offer or pricing information provided by ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT. ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT may change plan features, pricing, availability, limits, or other commercial terms for future purchases or renewals.

Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, changes will not retroactively alter the material terms of a purchase already made.
 

15. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing:

  • payments of TTD $501 or less are non-refundable; and

  • where a payment exceeds TTD $501, ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT may consider a refund request on a case-by-case basis.
     

A payment exceeding TTD $501 does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.

No refund will be required solely because a provider does not receive the number of leads, enquiries, customers, emergency calls, bookings, sales, or other results they expected. Where a listing or service is removed, suspended, or terminated because of fraud, misleading information, unlawful conduct, breach of these Terms, or other prohibited conduct, the provider may not be entitled to a refund, subject always to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or restrict any refund, remedy, warranty, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.
 

16. Suspension and Removal

ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT reserves the right, at its discretion and to the extent permitted by law, to:

  • refuse to approve a listing;

  • request additional information or documentation;

  • suspend a listing;

  • remove a listing;

  • remove or withhold a Verified badge;

  • restrict access;

  • decline renewal;

  • terminate a provider's participation; or

  • take other reasonable action
     

where it believes that a provider or listing:

  • violates these Terms;

  • contains misleading or inaccurate information;

  • creates legal, safety, security, or reputational concerns;

  • involves fraudulent or unlawful conduct;

  • misuses the Platform;

  • is reported as unauthorized;

  • is inconsistent with the purpose or operation of Motor Connect TT; or

  • otherwise presents a reasonable basis for action.
     

ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT is not required to keep any listing published indefinitely.
 

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Motor Connect TT is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis.
 

ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT does not warrant or guarantee that:

  • the website will always be available;

  • the website will operate without interruption or error;

  • directory information will always be complete, accurate, or current;

  • every listing will remain available;

  • every provider will respond to enquiries;

  • every emergency provider will respond to an emergency;

  • every provider is legitimate, qualified, licensed, insured, trustworthy, or suitable;

  • a provider's services will be safe, satisfactory, successful, or fit for a particular purpose;

  • any quotation or price will remain available;

  • any repair, towing, roadside assistance, part, product, or other service will meet a user's expectations; or

  • use of Motor Connect TT will produce any particular result.
     

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT, its owner(s), operators, representatives, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers shall not be responsible for losses, damages, costs, claims, liabilities, expenses, injuries, delays, or disputes arising from or connected with:

  • a provider's conduct;

  • a user's conduct;

  • products or services supplied by a provider;

  • automotive repairs or mechanical work;

  • towing, wrecking, recovery, or roadside assistance;

  • locksmith services;

  • tire assistance;

  • battery jumpstarts;

  • fuel delivery;

  • forensic services;

  • inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading provider information;

  • a Seeded Listing;

  • a Verified or unverified listing;

  • transactions between users and providers;

  • payment disputes;

  • quotations or pricing;

  • failure of a provider to perform;

  • failure of an emergency provider to respond, arrive, or resolve a situation;

  • vehicle damage;

  • property damage;

  • theft or loss;

  • personal injury;

  • death;

  • employment or business arrangements;

  • website interruptions or technical issues;

  • third-party websites or services;

  • reliance on information contained in a listing; or

  • any other act or omission of a third-party provider.
     

Users and providers acknowledge that Motor Connect TT does not control the conduct, performance, availability, safety, qualifications, pricing, or services of third-party providers. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.
 

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, a provider agrees to indemnify and hold harmless ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT, its owner(s), operators, representatives, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from or connected with:

  • information or content submitted by the provider;

  • the provider's products or services;

  • the provider's conduct;

  • the provider's breach of these Terms;

  • the provider's violation of another person's rights;

  • allegations that submitted content infringes intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; or

  • disputes between the provider and a customer, client, employee, contractor, purchaser, or other third party.
     

This provision does not require a provider to indemnify ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT for liability caused by ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT's own unlawful conduct or liability that cannot legally be transferred.
 

20. Third-Party Websites and Contact Methods

Listings may contain links or contact methods leading to third-party websites, WhatsApp accounts, social media accounts, email addresses, telephone numbers, maps, or other services. ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT does not control those third-party services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, policies, products, services, or conduct. Users access third-party services at their own discretion and risk.
 

21. Intellectual Property and Submitted Content

Unless otherwise stated, the Motor Connect TT name, branding, logos, original website design, text, graphics, layout, software, and other original Platform materials are owned by or used with permission by ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT and may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Providers must only submit photographs, logos, descriptions, trademarks, documents, graphics, and other materials that they own or are legally authorized to use. By submitting such material to Motor Connect TT, the provider grants ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to reproduce, display, format, publish, and use the submitted material for the operation, promotion, marketing, and improvement of Motor Connect TT. The provider remains responsible for ensuring that submitted material does not infringe another person's rights. Third-party business names, logos, trademarks, photographs, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.
 

22. Privacy

Information collected through Motor Connect TT may be handled in accordance with the Motor Connect TT Privacy Policy, which forms part of the Platform's legal terms. Users and providers should review the Privacy Policy before submitting personal information through the Platform or any Motor Connect TT form.
 

23. Website Availability and Technical Issues

ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT may modify, suspend, discontinue, restrict, or replace any part of Motor Connect TT at any time. ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT will make reasonable efforts to maintain the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT shall not be responsible for interruption or unavailability resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
 

24. Changes to These Terms

ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will be posted on the website with a revised effective date.

Continued use of Motor Connect TT after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
 

25. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Any dispute concerning these Terms or the operation or use of Motor Connect TT shall be subject to the applicable laws and courts of Trinidad and Tobago, subject to any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law.
 

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally possible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
 

27. No Waiver

If ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT does not immediately enforce any provision of these Terms, that does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision later.
 

28. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Motor Connect TT Disclaimer, Motor Connect TT Privacy Policy, and any specific written agreement applicable to a provider's listing or subscription, constitute the principal terms governing use of Motor Connect TT. Where a separate written agreement expressly applies, that agreement will govern to the extent of any inconsistency.
 

29. Contact

For questions concerning these Terms, listings, verification, subscriptions, or the operation of Motor Connect TT, users and providers may contact ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT through the contact information provided on the Motor Connect TT website.
 

By accessing or using Motor Connect TT, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Motor Connect TT is an online automotive directory designed to help users discover and contact automotive businesses, mechanics, dealers, parts suppliers, roadside assistance providers, emergency providers, and other automotive service providers in Trinidad and Tobago.

Motor Connect TT's role is to facilitate discovery and connection. Motor Connect TT does not provide, perform, supervise, manage, dispatch, or guarantee any automotive, mechanical, towing, recovery, roadside assistance, locksmith, tire, battery, fuel delivery, forensic, parts, repair, or other service advertised by listed providers. Once a user obtains a provider's contact information and chooses to communicate with that provider, any subsequent communication, service, transaction, or relationship is solely between the user and the provider.

2. No Endorsement or Certification

The presence of an individual, business, mechanic, dealer, parts supplier, emergency provider, or other automotive provider on Motor Connect TT does not mean that ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT endorses, recommends, certifies, guarantees, or vouches for that provider.

A listing should not be interpreted as a statement that the provider is:

  • qualified;

  • licensed;

  • certified;

  • insured;

  • experienced;

  • trustworthy;

  • reliable;

  • competent;

  • financially responsible;

  • suitable for a particular vehicle or situation; or

  • capable of safely or successfully providing a particular service.
     

Any review or screening conducted by Motor Connect TT is an internal directory process and does not constitute professional, technical, regulatory, safety, licensing, or insurance certification.

3. Verified Badge

A Verified badge indicates that the provider has completed the applicable Motor Connect TT listing or verification process and has provided or confirmed information requested by Motor Connect TT. The Verified badge does not mean that Motor Connect TT has inspected the provider, tested their services, verified their workmanship, confirmed their insurance, certified their qualifications, or guaranteed their safety, reliability, availability, pricing, or performance.

Verification is not an endorsement or professional certification. Users should continue to conduct their own due diligence even when dealing with a Verified provider.

4. Emergency Providers

Motor Connect TT may display an Emergency Directory containing providers offering services such as towing or wrecking, mobile mechanics, locksmith services, tire assistance, battery jumpstarts, fuel delivery, and other roadside or emergency automotive assistance. The Emergency Directory is provided solely to help users identify and contact potential providers. Motor Connect TT is not an emergency response, dispatch, roadside assistance, towing, rescue, police, medical, or fire service.

Motor Connect TT does not guarantee that an emergency provider:

  • is currently available;

  • will answer a call or message;

  • will respond;

  • will arrive at a particular time;

  • will arrive at all;

  • can resolve the user's situation;

  • has the necessary equipment;

  • will charge a particular price; or

  • will safely or successfully perform the requested service.

Any “24/7” designation is information associated with a provider's listing and is not a guarantee by Motor Connect TT that the provider will be available or respond at any particular time.

In a life-threatening, medical, fire, police, security, or other immediate emergency, users should contact the appropriate official emergency service and should not rely on Motor Connect TT or a provider listed on the Platform as a substitute for an official emergency response service.

5. Provider Responsibility

Each provider is solely responsible for:

  • the accuracy of their listing;

  • their qualifications and credentials;

  • their licences, permits, and certifications where applicable;

  • their insurance where applicable;

  • their products and services;

  • their prices and additional charges;

  • their advertisements;

  • their representations and claims;

  • their compliance with applicable laws;

  • their availability;

  • their workmanship;

  • their dealings with customers; and

  • any consequences arising from their products, services, conduct, or representations.

Users should independently verify relevant information before entering into a transaction or engaging a provider.

6. Seeded Listings

Motor Connect TT may create or publish Seeded Listings for businesses and providers as part of the development and expansion of the directory. A Seeded Listing may be created using publicly available information or information obtained through lawful research and does not necessarily mean that the business or provider has registered with, reviewed, approved, or confirmed the listing. Seeded Listings may contain incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate information.

Businesses and providers may contact Motor Connect TT to request corrections, updates, or completion of their listing. The existence of a Seeded Listing should not be interpreted as an endorsement, verification, or confirmation by Motor Connect TT.

7. No Guarantee of Results

Motor Connect TT does not guarantee that a listed provider will receive:

  • customers;

  • enquiries;

  • leads;

  • sales;

  • bookings;

  • emergency calls;

  • service requests;

  • contracts;

  • referrals;

  • revenue; or

  • any other particular result.

The purpose of Motor Connect TT is to increase visibility and make it easier for potential customers to discover and contact automotive providers. Actual results depend on factors outside the control of ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT.

8. Transactions and Disputes

ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT is not a party to transactions or arrangements between users and listed providers.

Accordingly, ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT is not responsible for disputes concerning:

automotive repairs;
workmanship;

  • towing or recovery;

  • roadside assistance;

  • parts;

  • products;

  • services;

  • prices;

  • payments;

  • refunds;

  • cancellations;

  • contracts;

  • delays;

  • availability;

  • vehicle damage;

  • property damage;

  • personal injury;

  • theft or loss;

  • fraud;

  • misrepresentation;

  • failure to respond; or

  • any other disagreement between a user and provider.

Users and providers are responsible for resolving their own transactions and disputes.

Motor Connect TT may nevertheless review concerns brought to its attention and may suspend or remove a listing where appropriate. Such action does not mean that ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT has accepted responsibility for the underlying dispute.

9. Third-Party Links and Contact Information

A listing may contain links or contact information for WhatsApp, telephone numbers, email addresses, social media profiles, websites, maps, or other third-party services.

11. Limitation of Responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago, ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT shall not be responsible for losses, damages, claims, costs, injuries, liabilities, or disputes arising from or connected with a user's dealings with a provider discovered through Motor Connect TT, including services involving vehicles, repairs, towing, recovery, roadside assistance, locksmiths, tire assistance, battery assistance, fuel delivery, parts, or other automotive services.

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Acceptance

By using Motor Connect TT, users acknowledge that they understand the purpose and limitations of the Platform and agree that Motor Connect TT is a directory and connection service, not an automotive service provider, emergency response service, or party to the transactions and relationships formed through the directory.

Information for a Seeded Listing may be obtained from publicly available sources, including business websites, social media profiles, public directories, or other lawful sources.

  • location;

  • services;

  • business hours;

  • photographs;

  • social media or website links;

  • and other publicly available business information.
     

A Seeded Listing does not necessarily mean that the business has directly submitted or confirmed the information.

3. Seeded Listings

Motor Connect TT may initially list automotive businesses and providers without receiving a direct listing application from them. This may be done using publicly available business information or information obtained through lawful research. Where a Seeded Listing is later claimed, completed, or updated by the provider, additional information may be collected directly from that provider. A business or provider may contact ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT to request correction, updating, completion, or removal of information associated with their listing, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

4. Verified Listings

Motor Connect TT may offer a Verified status or badge for providers who complete the applicable Motor Connect TT listing or verification process.

Information provided during that process may be used to:

  • review the listing;

  • confirm or clarify information;

  • determine whether the listing meets Motor Connect TT's requirements;

  • communicate with the provider; and

  • administer the provider's listing.

The Verified badge itself may be displayed publicly as part of the provider's listing. Information submitted privately for verification or screening purposes will not automatically be displayed publicly unless it is intended for publication, the provider has agreed to its publication, or disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law. A Verified badge does not constitute professional, regulatory, licensing, insurance, safety, or quality certification.

5. Emergency Provider Information

Motor Connect TT may collect information from providers who wish to be listed in the Emergency Directory, including information relating to:

  • emergency or roadside services;

  • availability;

  • areas served;

  • operating hours;

  • 24/7 availability;

  • telephone numbers;

  • WhatsApp numbers;

  • service capabilities;

  • and other information relevant to emergency assistance.
     

Information intended for public display may be published so that users can identify and contact emergency providers. Motor Connect TT does not itself provide emergency services or guarantee the availability or response of any emergency provider.

  • review and approve provider listings;

  • create and maintain directory listings;

  • create and maintain Seeded Listings;

  • process listing applications;

  • administer Verified status;

  • allow visitors to contact providers;

  • maintain the security and functionality of the website;

  • respond to enquiries;

  • investigate suspected misuse or violations of the Terms;

  • improve Motor Connect TT;

11. Accuracy of Information

Providers are responsible for ensuring that information submitted to Motor Connect TT is accurate and current. Providers may contact ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT to request correction or updating of inaccurate listing information. Because Motor Connect TT may also contain Seeded Listings created from publicly available information, some information may initially be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT may update or remove information where reasonably necessary.
 

12. Data Security

ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT will take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the information handled to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no website, online database, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users and providers should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information through Motor Connect TT forms, messages, or other communications.

Where a business has been included as a Seeded Listing, ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT may review requests for removal or correction and take appropriate action. Removal of a public listing does not necessarily require ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT to immediately delete all underlying records associated with the provider, particularly where those records are reasonably required for accounting, legal, security, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes.
 

16. Children's Information

Motor Connect TT is not specifically directed toward children.

ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT does not intentionally seek unnecessary personal information from children.

Where a minor operates or represents a legitimate business or service and submits a listing with appropriate authorization, ISLANDORY DIGITAL TT may determine whether the listing is appropriate for publication.
